Low Carb Indian Butter Chicken


  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala seasoning
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (if you like heat, omit if you don’t)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lb chicken tenderloins cut in one inch chunks


Melt butter in saucepan. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add heavy cream. Add all spices. Allow the sauce to simmer down for 10 minutes. Add chicken and simmer on low until chicken is cooked through. I served mine with caulirice cooked in microwave for 5 minutes and then put in a pan with 1/2 cup chicken broth and a tsp curry. Serve when chicken broth is gone. Top with cilantro if you’re into that 😏
